Fragment: That Night in Moscow

I stood in the heart of the city,
outside an elite building I had no access to,
half-drunk, holding a beer,
and yet more awake than I had ever been.

The world around me was dressed in status.
I was dressed in thought.

And though no one knew it,
I looked at the sky and knew:
this is not the end.

One day, I’ll return not as a guest,
but as a voice.
A voice that does not knock on doors —
it builds new architecture.
