Main Idea
Creativity is not about “creating a form from scratch,” but about bringing form into precise alignment with the author’s inner meaning and truth.
What Is Wrong with the Popular Position
- It is often claimed: “If a text or other content was made by AI, there is no creativity.”
- This is a substitution: creativity is reduced to the fact of initially generating a form.
- But a form in itself (a draft, variant, or template) is not yet equivalent to a creative act.
What Actually Constitutes Creativity
- Not generation, but distinction and refinement.
- The key act: the author senses correspondence and makes minute decisions:
- “this, yes / this, no”;
- changing a word, pause, intonation, or emphasis;
- removing a passage that is logical but “not one’s own.”
- These decisions bring the form into alignment with an inner resonance.
The Role of the Human Being and the Role of AI
- AI: rapidly produces many variants of form.
- The human being: determines where there is resonance and where there is falseness; refines the form until it coincides precisely with meaning.
- Consequently, the human being’s role lies not “in the fact of generation,” but in the act of choosing, editing, and fine-tuning.
Two Modes of Working
- Generation for the Sake of a Result (without the participation of felt experience):
- taking generated text;
- publishing it without reflection or edits;
- creativity is minimal or absent.
- Tuning to Inner Resonance:
- taking a preliminary draft (including one from AI);
- beginning delicate editing and semantic fine-tuning;
- this is where genuine creativity begins.
Why the Debate Persists
- From the outside, two texts may look identical.
- But creativity is not visible “from the picture”: it is determined by the degree of correspondence with the author’s inner state.
Strong Conclusion
- AI does not kill creativity.
- AI kills the imitation of creativity: a superficial, “average” result can now easily be automated.
- What remains valuable is only what a human being has refined to the point of inner truth.
Formula
It does not matter who made the draft. What matters is who brought the form into correspondence with meaning.
Practical Consequence
The more automatic generation there is, the greater the demand for human distinction, taste, and precision of inner criteria.
