Because it’s the idea that everything is just matter—and nothing more. No room for meaning, information, or context. Just atoms and laws.
We believe this is reductionism. It might be convenient in physics, but it doesn’t explain the whole world.

🔹 “You say materialism isn’t falsifiable? What does that mean?”
Simple: it doesn’t allow for any explanation outside of matter. Talk about meaning?—You’re ‘poetic.’ About God?—You’re ‘religious.’ About the structure of consciousness?—That’s ‘psychology.’ Anything outside matter is just dismissed.
That’s exactly what unfalsifiability means.
